Here’s a Sumer To Do list we put together of some of our favourite activities to attend with our wee ones when the weather is hot:
- Strawberry picking (Herrles Farm is a favourite in St. Agatha)
- Check out the Butterfly Conservatory
- Hang out at the library – both KPL and WPL have great programs for babies
- Visit the Farmer’s Market
- Check out a splash pad (there are lots in KW!)
- Watch some construction – if you have a toddler they will LOVE this!
- Take swimming lessons together
- Pack a picnic and head to your favourite park or beach (Bronwyn adores Bayfield and goes weekly with her kids over the summer!)
- Pull out the outdoor toys. Even if your baby can’t hula hoop yet they will still have a blast exploring these fun new items.
- Put your infant bathtub in the backyard or on the deck and let them enjoy a cool bath in the shade on a hot day
- Take a postpartum yoga class.
- Visit the Toronto Zoo or the Aquarium
- Go to a festival! There are so many in our area: Hillside, Jazz, Blues, Buskers, and more. Pack a pair of noise-cancelling headphones for your little one and enjoy!
- Blow bubbles! Your baby will be so fascinated by them. Make sure to have the camera ready!
